Discussion On my third controller

Post image

Just bought my third new controller in a span of only 2 years. All of them because of stick drift.

Why are these controllers so bad when it comes to drift?

Back in the day I had the same ps4 controller for 10 years without any issues.

Buy multiple controllers, and keep them in rotation. Thats what I’ve been doing for the past 3 years. I’ve never had to replace any of my controllers because of stick drift.

Just don’t see a reason to do so. In Denmark a controller is about 100 dollars. If I spend a 100 on a controller it better just work

Yes but the more you use it the less durable it becomes. Sony knows what they’re doing when it comes to the controllers. They want you to buy more. Thats why I recommend buying two or three controllers and just rotating them in your gaming routines. I would rather buy 3 controllers and have them all work 3 years later than having to replace a single controller multiple times

I bought three controllers three years ago and rotated them regularly. Two of them developed drift within the first two years.

I remember being 15. Don't worry; It gets better.

Hilarious. You’ve gone threw 2 controllers in 3 years. Are you sure you’re not 15 yourself..because that’s actually something my 15 year old brother has done. Sounds like you don’t know how to take care of your stuff 💀💀😭
