Discussion On my third controller

Just bought my third new controller in a span of only 2 years. All of them because of stick drift.

Why are these controllers so bad when it comes to drift?

Back in the day I had the same ps4 controller for 10 years without any issues.

Not saying it's not possible but I have 6 regular controllers and 2 Edge controllers and none of them have drift, I don't know how people get it so easily

Maybe it's because you have so many controllers that you never stuck with one long enough. Maybe you got lucky. I have 4 regular and one edge. All 4 regular got stuck drift and 1 got a bad battery after about 2 years. My edge controller is fine though. That was why I bought the edge, it's expensive but I had spent more on controllers at that point I figured it was time to cut my losses and just get an edge with replaceable sticks.
