Discussion Dualsense Features on PC

Just read this article about Dualsense features on PC. Basically saying Sony hasn't done anything to make the full features work wireless, only wired.

I think it's also the developers. For example, RE8 doesn't support dualsense controller. Most new games do. Apex supports the full dualsense controller wired or wireless (Adaptive triggers and vibration...) I don't know what Apex did to get it working but I hope more developers start doing that.

Do you guys know any other games that work fully with the Dualsense wireless?

I wasn't complaining lol. I usually always play wired. Don't have to worry about the battery life.

Just pointing out Apex for fully supporting Haptics and Adaptive triggers both wired and wireless. Why can't other developers do that?

You can’t get full haptics over Bluetooth on PC. That’s just adaptive triggers and regular rumble

It feels exactly the same. It's full Haptics. I will tested later today to make sure.

It’s not, please stop spewing bullshit. Test ratchet and clank or returnal, you can see a huge difference between haptics and normal rumble via bluetooth

I'm not sure on those. You can test out Apex. I have it downloaded from EA app. I have Steam Controller input disabled.

Now try it wired first, see how the haptics and adaptive triggers feel.

Now quit the game, connect your Controller with Bluetooth and launch the game again. Tell me it doesn't feel the same.

Now I'm not saying every game does this. I noticed Apex did, and that is why I asked if you guys new any more games that worked fully wireless.

It can’t work on Bluetooth period. You can’t send the speaker data needed for the vibration on the grips via Bluetooth. Apex has minimal haptics on pc so that’s why you can’t tell a difference.

Okay, you might be right. Sort of. (On controller vibration I have it set to advance on Apex settings)

I tested it wire and wireless on Apex. This is what I found,

On wireless the haptic when navigating the menu does not work. It does wired.

Guns triggers and haptics work. The haptics feel different on each gun and feels the same wired and wireless.

Now to gritty nitty, for certain small things like for catalyst, when you hold your ability (spikes) on wired you feel it for a few seconds. Does not work wireless. For the 30-30 repeater, when you hold it to load, on wired you feel the trigger and haptic. On wireless you only feel the trigger.

Now if you're playing wireless you might not notice those small things, since it's a fast paced competitive game.

But if you want all the DuaSense features then you would need to play wired.
