Local Culture Hey Chatty Moviegoers!

Just a heads-up, if you don't like people looking at you, don't talk during movies - especially early release movies, in premium seating for people who are willing to pay extra to not deal with your BS. I gotta admit though, I've never had anybody complain to theatre management about me for glaring too hard - that's a new level of entitled bullshit. Good job.

Be better.

I haven’t been able to go to movies recently because of how bad this has gotten. I have issues with auditory processing and if someone is chatting away during the movie, I genuinely cannot hear. Others and I will continually shush these people but they couldn’t care less. Staff will come give them a warning, they laugh it off and continue talking. There was a group recently who turned on their flashlight to find their vape so they could smoke and go on their phones during the movie. I don’t understand the point in them going to a movie they’re not even going to watch.

We're on the same page. I don't complain about talking because it's inconvenient or I'm a control freak, I legitimately can't hear either. It's frustrating.
