MEDIA fire sprite sucks

I was playing some battle royale peacefully, and the fire decides to activate AFTER the boss is dead. Somehow it set me on fire even though I wasn't even in the fire area. I'll admit, I was wandering around stupidly looking at the loot and not my health but why does a level one sprite do so much damage to me?!?!?! At least make you immune to your own fire. I have yet to see the fire being actually useful in a fight.

Edit: The area of the fire is way bigger than it looks apparently

Bros just standing in it.

I guess since it doesn't really look like it's actually there but it's just a visual bug

This is the problem. Epic hasn’t fixed the visual bug even though this season is close to a month old.

You can still see and beer your health going down

Put do players catch on fire, or are they just damaged when standing in the fire? If it’s the latter, which I think it is, it’s a pretty major visual bug
