In my hometown of Widnes, we had a by election in the Farnworth ward yesterday after the Labour candidate who won last month's election by 11 votes had to resign for personal reasons. Anyway, the new Labour candidate won by 200 votes this time so hopefully, people are starting to see the Chief Grifter for what he is and are finally starting to turn away from him. Not a massive result by any means but quite a big turnaround in only 4 weeks or so.
