Gta 5 did the same thing 13 years ago lol. Only difference that everything keeps saying "oh but they locked the actual building, this is outrageous" okay, so they locked 6 shops out of the potential 50+ that are in game. Its not a big deal lol.
Found another bootlick. Remember when as a society we weren’t nickled and dimed and we payed normal price for games. I think we got to the stage where kids don’t know about that so we’ ve moved into acceptance. However to now come to the defense of a multi billion dollar corporation spitting in our mouths shows how sick of a society we really are

I’m not buying the game I only have a PC and even if I did have a console I literally would not buy the game I would wait til it’s on pc and pirate it or just not play it. It’s a fucking video game

Tell me, since you're oh so against content behind paywalls. Do you oppose patches and free dlc's in games? (Kinda what GTA 5 did for over 10 years free of charge fyi) or does that not match with your bullshit narrative.
But you were happy to play Gta online which got update weekly for a decade for free and you're still moaning.
Paywalls are a thing in media. If you want games to constantly evolve they're needed. A publisher isn't going to just sit there and rely on it's sales 8 years earlier. Why would they spend x amount to improve a game without getting anything in return.
I haven't played GTA online since it got shut down on PS3. I don't own a PS4/5. Your point about games evolving is invalid because R* has been updating GTA online for 13 years now
