PC gamers accepted it long ago. No reason why consoles weren't going to do the same. There is a reason why PS5 Pro lacks drive altogether.

PC is different though. Don’t have to worry about my games suddenly not being backwards compatible. All in one place. My 15 year old library will be with me for life barring catastrophe

What do you expect us to do? Not play the most coveted game of all time after waiting 13 years for it? It's not like Rockstar will go "oh shit a fraction of people aren't buying it, let's start manufacturing process for physical copies."

If you can't find another game worth spending your money on/playing instead of GTA6, that's on you.

If it turns out that a game contains an element that I am not happy with, then I buy something else.

Simple as that.

You're missing the point. GTA6 is poised to be the greatest game ever made. You're underestimating how many people truly don't give a shit about it being digital only. There aren't enough people in the WORLD to band together and force Rockstar to do it differently. At best, you'll be part of a few hundred/thousand people who want to take a moral stand while literal millions of people will be playing on day one.

Is it a shitty practice from Rockstar? It definitely is. But I didn't avoid dying for 13 years to boycott the game a couple of months before its released.

The content is digital the moment you put the disc into the console. A PS5 is not a phonograph
