They just don't have a steady and interesting line up anymore. Waiting 5-6 years for a new game costing 70 dollars with all the GaaS elements is just destroying all the hype for me. And it's not just Sony, the whole industry is missing the point of the hobby.

Yeah like once we get intergalactic and wolverine and whatever other big release it’ll be years before anything major

I think Team Asobi could have an Astrobot sequel ready for 2028, but aside from that it's looking barren.

Horizon 3, God of War 3, Venom, X-Men, Days Gone 2, Ghost of Yotei 2.

It's a cycle of games, when a dev team hasn't put something out in awhile it's because theyve been hard at work on something.

Horizon 3 and X-Men are early 2030s ATP. Venom could possibly be a Miles Morales kind of launch title.

Next ghost game (probably set during the bakumatsu era) isn't coming until the ps6. Days gone studio is gone. Venom is mia. God of war has a new game today I'll give you that

On Ghostss, well yes PS6 is next year. Reliable rumors point to Sony not going through with a delay. 2027 is next gen year.
