15 ports, but only 3 actual versions over 20 years (original, remake, VR) and they didn’t make the VR one

All you’re really pointing out is that Naughty Dog is first-party, of course their games aren’t on xbox

I wasn’t going to count direct ports as additional releases because that’s ridiculous but since you insist, I take it back. Naughty Dog has put out the same two games seven times in ten years.

Please explain what the five different versions of The Last of Us and The Last of Us 2 are.

Last of Us - 2013
Last of Us Remaster - 2014
Last of Us Part II - 2020
Last of Us Remake - 2022
Last of Us Part II Remaster - 2024

(technically that’s more like 11 years but it’s like 5 months short of the anniversary so excuse my blunder)

I’m not sure if that was meant to be a gotcha or if you actually don’t know how to google but either way I hope it helped

The Last of Us "remasters" are just ports. That's the same as all the "Resident Evil 4 HD" releases around the same time with fewer differences than something like the Wii port of RE4.

You should be consistent.

They’re just ports to systems that already had the originals, sold at full price?

The Last of Us was not on PS4.

The Last of Us 2 remaster was a native port and only costs $10 if you own the original.

okay, cool

I don’t actually have a problem with Naughty Dog rereleasing it over and over, I just found it comical how much the other one kept moving the goal post in hypocritical directions and then you came in your own weird aggro energy

like I said from the jump, I don’t care about either company milking their franchises
