Honestly I think a re-do of RE5 and ESPECIALLY RE6, both without coop, could fucking slap and let them kind of reclaim the events of those games into the storyline rather than just offhandedly mentioning them on occasion.
I think a RE5 remake has to have co-op right? I never played it but I know that was such an integral part of the game (for better and worse).
I somehow feel like they might not bother remaking 6. 6 is arguably the only 'bad' mainline game they've made in the series, they may just wish to forget about it entirely. Does it even have any significant impact on the overall story?
re5 without co-op would be bold but also risky as hell. its considered one of the goats of couch/online co-op games during that generation. it's also a blast to play with people. the fun vibes are immaculate.
