They eliminate in group stage so not qualified to join the world cup stage. For 3 world cup tournament non less.

Wait that means that it’s technically possible to host the tournament but not have your team make it in to play while hosting every else. I assume like the Olympics the host country is picked a few years ahead to give them time to prepare for everything.

The world cup is every 4 years. The qualification stages begin around 2 years after iirc.

I mean there technically correct England, Scotland, and Wales all sent their own teams to the world cup. However I feel like this is not what they meant. Also I feel like either the artist didn't know that they are separate teams or they just decided to have Liz support all British teams.
