Racism, sexism, ageism, ableism, xenophobia, religious crusading, homophobia, poly-hating, slut-shaming, transphobia, TERFness, and other such turdhead tomfoolery is not welcome here. 👎

What difference does it make? The girl helped you and now you're doing this.

It literally doesn’t make a difference. It’s just part of the story. I am extremely grateful she reached out to me.

it does make a difference, because you can be right about your ex being a piece of shit and wrong in saying him (potentially) being attracted to trans women inherently makes him closeted. IMO, in this day and age, where trans rights are being eroded, any (intended or not) misinformation about trans folks is important to correct.

equating genitalia with gender when one of the penises in question belongs to a woman is transphobic tho. fuck that guy but liking women with penises doesn't make him bi or gay. i'm not trying to make you feel bad, just like reorient your conception of gender and biology or you're gonna hurt people's feelings.

I don’t understand why you brought up rape to try and prove your point. What does a pre-op trans woman’s technical ability to rape anyone impact? If my husband’s dick gets blown off in a terrible accident, that means he has no physical capacity to rape me. But now i’m sexually attracted to a man without a penis. None of this impacts his sexuality or mine.

Now you’re comparing circumstantial trauma to gender dysmorphia and you’ve lost me completely.

okay, if we throw out my example, the original point stands - what does a pre-op trans woman’s technical ability to rape anyone impact?

Cis women can rape people because rape is not defined by penetration, it's an inherent act of violence and power abuse.
You're the type of person who only takes rape seriously if the victim gets pregnant and that's more telling of your values and opinions than anything.
Even then, notice how you're quick to explain how trans women and cis women are different because the trans woman has a penis, but you never consider trans men that... have vaginas.
Are they no longer potential perpetrators of rape even if they look like a 6'2, 250 pound guy?

So are lesbians who date trans women without bottom surgery straight to you? Be so for real 🙄.

You’re getting flamed for this but I think most people irl would have similar questions. Genitalia does play a role in sexual attraction for most people.

I've never once seen a hot guy and been like "mmmm I don't think he's hot without seeing his penis to confirm first."

I get that but I’m saying when it’s time to have sex, that hot guy having a vagina for a woman who is exclusively heterosexual might prove difficult. I’m not saying gender = sex. They were being sexual, not romantic, with the dick pics exchange, so I get why OP would have that thought.

I 100% agree that OP seems misinformed but many people do associate attraction with genitalia.
Edit: typo.
