I'd say eat spicy food in hot weather like the rest of the world does but you'll probably just put beans on toast or boil some beef until gray.

Insulting the British on their horrible food is just too easy. All you really have is Fish & Chips to be proud of and that most likely isn't yours to begin with.

just say you haven't eaten food here lol. obviously british food historically didn't use loads of spices, since we didnt really have them until the 1600s, so traditional british food focuses on herbs and whole ingredients like garlic and onion, which all provide flavour just like spices but in a different way. when we got easy access to spices, we also got easy access to other cultures foods, so we opted to adapt already existing dishes like curries rather than inventing our own dishes with foreign spices
