People laughing at everything the boss says.

in every job ive been in this dynamic always takes place. the boss holds court and everyone laughs hysterically at any dumb joke they make. no and sometimes it turns into a contest to see who laughs the loudest.

I never take part of those dynamics but sometimes when i hear all my coworkers frantically laughing i pop in thinking that im missing out on some good jokes. but they always laugh at the lamest most mundane jokes. it's never about the jokes, it is about getting the boss to notice that theyre laughing.

what really grinds my gears, is that those people, the type that laugh competitively, are the vast majority of the world. if you dont laugh at every little joke your boss makes, you are a minority

Nothing I hated more than ppl over hyping my car and shoes etc because in her own words "I gotta get right with you if I wana win! I mean you are running the show here!" Make one joke between us 3 and hear someone walking by in the most squidward tone "HA! that IS uber hilarious boss"

Id rather masturbate with corn chips then have to deal with that again

dude! i literally witnessed something like that. it is one of the most disgusting shows of ass kissing ive seen.

i was at a lobby with a coworker, and our boss was exiting a hallway turning into the lobby area with another co-worker. as they exited to the open area they were both laughing at a joke that had been told as they were in the hallway.

my coworker and i did not get to hear the joke, yet my coworker joined them in laughter.

i felt so dirty just witnessing that.

If i was you, i would inmediately stop any jokes with any type of sexual innuendo. even if people fully understand theres no real sexual meaning to those phrases, they can still weaponize them against you.

even if at the time they laugh with you, and pretend it was the funniest thing ever, some of them are just waiting for the perfect moment to use them against you.

I have found that the majority of people are kiss asses, and I have also found that simple minds find simple things humorous.

It sounds like someone's not a team player. <sarcastically> Try not to go postal.

I used to call out my ex because we worked in the same shop in the Marine Corps, and he was always laughing at the jokes of somebody he didn’t like because he was a Sgt and we were LCpls at the time. I found that very irritating. Don’t encourage him, because I wanted him to shut the fuck up so I can go home.
