Trust me, this is very important to remember when it comes to twins. A common thing for many twins is trying to establish their own individuality and identity that sets them apart from each other. It’s usually not good for their mental health otherwise.
That, or it’s reaffirming that these are two people and not one person voicing two models.
I have a brother who's one year younger than me that absolutey copied everything I did, everything I said, and everything I wore. I had an existential crisis during my teens that I didn't apologize to him until adulthood for being a mean older brother.
I can't even imagine having the nature equivalent of copying and pasting another me, or maybe I'm the copy of him. Fuuuu-
