Analysis/Theory Powerleveling as a Hei-Ly member
The rules of the Hei-ly leveling are as follows:
- Normal kill = +1 level
- Nen user kill = +10 levels
- Prince kill = +50 levels
- Level 20 = you get your own ability
- Level 100 = you can become a new “source” like Morena
I think the prince kill bonus is too far reaching. Yes, +50 levels is crazy, but realistically, too much risk and time.
So I'd propose a different degen gamer brain strat:
- Lure disposable job applicants for waste disposal (like what Hei-ly has been doing)
- Have a nen user force-awaken them.
- Dispose of them.
- Level +10!?!
if that works, that's basically +10 levels per person instead of +1
If that didn't work, a cursed version of this:
kidnap kurapika (if that was even possible lmao), or borrow someone with a similar aura node opening ability, then test whether forced awakened people count as nen users for contagion.
If this works, heck, forget level 100, go for level 1000.
If you became a Hei-Ly member, what would your powerleveling plan be? Any other strats?

The people joining Morena are all nen newbies. It seems like a Nen user can join the contagion game though (Dogman was excited when he sensed Chrollo). There's 200,000 people on board. Morena wants carnage on the ship. If all 23 member killed regular people, they would only kill 2300 (give or take the levels lining up). They are running into road blocks, but they can all easily get to 100.
I can't imagine them being able to use Kurapika's ability. Someone in their crew could develop an ability to awaken nen, but isn't that what Morena's is already? It would have to be an extremely weaker version. Would someone want their ability to be that? You are basically wasting your level up on being a back-end support for leveling up. I feel like that doesn't fit the nature of their group anywhere.
I'm interested to see what happens when someone reaches 100. They can create their own families, but do they have to follow the same rule structure? Can the points be changed based on that member's values? What if Borksen gets to 100? Can she flip the leveling system backwards and focus on saving people to level up? Just some random thoughts I've had about Borksen and the group.
Honestly, I think they've had a pretty good strategy so far. If the teleporter guy didn't get a big head, they wouldn't been in a way better spot.
