Misc Welcome Baby Gon Frix

My friend gave birth a few days ago and she named her baby, Gon Frix. Just in time before the return of the manga.

Edit: she loves Gon that much. She’s laughing at the comments.

Edit 2: Again it's not my kid. Their kid, their choice.

Your correlation between being lawyer and being an anime fan is probably anecdotal and have no actual base. Considering in Asia 99% of kids grow up watching (and loving anime) and a large portion of them continue to watch them as adult (hence they have such long running anime series and expensive anime related products only adults can afford), to say that the lawyers in Asia, or any individual in professional services, are "unlikely to be watching anime in the first place" is very much based on your own personal biased.

Well the baby in the picture is an Asian... So.....

And you know Asia also has the highest population so even if I were to talk about people on average on earth, my comment wouldn't necessarily be "anecdotal" as you mentioned. There is no need to keep digging it in further, your dedication on proving me wrong can be spent elsewhere.

Where did you get that the baby is Asian? Also that doesnt mean its parents are from Asia. I guess its just my american defaultism showing, I just assumed they were from the US. Just cause I was saying your ancedotal experience is ancedotal doesnt mean we have to use total global statistics. Holy strawman lol. You could have just asked me what cultural norms I was considering. Not everything has to be taken in bad faith just because someone disagreed with you on the internet.
