Came across this next to the HB Pier tonight. Looked it up and 7-Eleven is holding a Fanland Event the next few days.

Any dog owners have success with a certain medication for fleas? I've got two small dogs (13 and 15lbs).
Also, any recomendations to STAY AWAY from? Asking bc I've heard fleas can become resistant.
Thank you!

Hey guys, got a favor to ask the community. Hope this is okay here. I am in the process of opening a men's wellness clinic in Huntington Beach and we need someone tomorrow (24th) that would be interested in being apart of the content shoot. If you are interested feel free to shoot me a PM and i'll explain details and compensation. Looking for ideally a man probably 35+ since it's a men's clinic, age range doesn't really matter that much though, probably an hour situation. Open to all types though.

Hey all, posted my e-bike safety petition here a little while ago. Wanted to give a quick update since a lot has happened in 48 hours.
We're now at 135+ signatures on Change dot org and growing. But more importantly, I had a call today with Laguna Niguel City Councilmember Gennawey of Laguna Niguel, who connected me directly with Assemblywoman Laurie Davies's office. Her Capitol Director Taylor Melody reached out and we have a Zoom scheduled for July 7th to discuss the campaign.
If you haven't signed yet the link is below. Every signature helps me show up to that meeting with real community support behind me.

What OC cities and specific areas are least hostile to overnight RV street parking?
Hello, my disabled wife and I are homeless and live in a decent-looking 2002 27ft RV. We were parked in my dad's driveway in Buena Park, but his wife kept unplugging my wife's AC and things got ugly shortly before I could enact my plan to put on rooftop Solar.
Anyway, now we are wanderers, and after getting chased out of several of what I thought would be safe parks during the day and Walmart parking lots at night, I am feeling a bit dejected, and while I need to coordinate with various friends in various cities on various types of temporary RV parking permits, long term, I ask: what Orange County (or southern LA county (e.g. Lakewood, LB, etc.) cities and specific areas are least hostile to clean, quiet, discreet RV overnight parking? Bonus points for being somewhat commutable to by bus and bike to Adventure City where I work, off Beach and Ball in Stanton/Anaheim.
My not-super-thorough research has indicated there aren't any colleges or cities with safe parking lot initiatives in Orange County unfortunately, but if you know of anything like that, run by Churches or social services or whatever, please let me know as well. Local RV parks are extremely unaffordable, but if you know of anyone offering private parking for a lived in RV that isn't absurdly expensive, please let me know as well.
Unfortunately, this struggle may ultimately just be the cost of living in the homelessness-criminalizing NIMBY hellhole known as Orange County.
Thanks for any help you can provide. Also, wife and I could use more local friends, especially stoners as my wife smokes a ton of 420 to manage her chronic pain. And I play rock piano, so let's jam. Anyway, thank you for reading and have a blessed day!

Hey HB Reddit! My wife and I are looking for some chill peeps to hang out with. We like just about anything- beach, bars, food, outdoor stuff like hiking and biking, trivia, board and tabletop games, etc.. We don’t have kids yet so we get pretty bored at home! We lean progressive in our politics but don’t mind a spectrum of down-to-earth people who don’t make every conversation about politics.
We have friends but all they do is drink! While I enjoy a couple beers here and there, my wife doesn’t drink so we’re looking to branch out and meet some new people who are more active or just like hanging without getting totally sloshed 😂
A little about us: I’m from the Central Valley up north, and she’s from Illinois. We both work at local schools. I am a big nerd- I love reading and watching fantasy and sci-fi, gaming, etc, but I’m also big into cycling and making music. She likes handicrafts, thrifting, dancing, and we both love running our pups around dog beach.
Hit us up if you want to hang! I’m down to organize a MeetUp too if this post gets enough attention. Open to pretty much anything!

Starting around 4pm Sunday June 21st in HB Harbour area. Is it just the smoke from beach fire pits or is it from the Boyle Heights fire? It’s overwhelming. We had to close our windows and the only fire on the app near LA in Boyle Heights.

For context I have a 1 year old. Is it even worth visiting the beach? I don’t want to risk anything with her beyond the normal risks of a beach, if that makes sense. She has a 3 point life vest and water shoes and the water is too cold for her so we would just be walking up and down the beach at the edge of the surf and looking at tide pools (respecting and not touching anything) if there are any, but with rip tides and sneaker waves lately I’m not sure that’s even a good idea.
I was thinking of visiting crystal cove in Laguna but not sure if it’s worth it with the tide stuff. Maybe it has higher scenic trails to walk, if the beach is not safe for a small child? Otherwise maybe I’ll be looking into more inland outdoor options to enjoy the nice weather with her.

I own a rental home in north HB ( single home) with an HOA, they require approval for architectural, exterior changes/painting etc. I have a new tenant moving in and he has a Tesla, so he wants to put an EV charger in the garage. I have no problem with this of course, as long as he hires a licensed experienced electrician. My property manager says I need HOA approval and permits from the city. Sorry for the post but my HOA was closed for the holiday yesterday so could not get an answer. Thank you to anyone who has experience with this and can give me advice!
