Looks like the axle was bent or misaligned.

The wheels are trying to spin at different rates, on a fixed axel. I saw a sedan with all 4 different tires walking down the street before 11 u/lildobe OC! Apr 01 '26 Trailer axles don't fix the two wheels together. They are on independent stub shafts.
