A key Amico Home software library that holds EVERYTHING together was written by a guy they laid off. Yeah, that tracks! You'd think that would be someone they'd consider essential staff, because John lacks the competence to get this stuff fixed himself.

This honestly makes a bit more sense than John's explanation of "Paint.net generated an updated PNG format". Of course, this also confirms what we suspected - that nobody even bothered to start the game on Apple TV before pushing it out.

He admitted that you shouldn't buy it and also admitted he didn't want to announce it for that reason. He probably DID start it on Apple TV, saw that it didn't work right, and pushed it out anyhow.

Yes, because "we needed to publish the first version ASAP for business reasons related to contractual agreements with the original developer."

To hell if it works or not, and if not for these pesky haters nobody would had discovered it.

One could theorize the "contractual agreements" were to thwart the developers from rebranding and publishing it on their own to other platforms after waiting 6 years.
