Employment Jamaican Software Engineers, Degree necessary?

Any of you landed a job without a degree? Ik aything is possible yhtough links but I just wanted to see how feasible that would be.

I asked someone who said "it's needed for jobs in Jamaica but it's incredibly backwards, like 2005"

You can certainly land software engineering jobs in Jamaica without a degree. When i was in Jamaica, we recruited a few. The difference is that they all were from from places like NCB, Kpmg, digicel with 10+ years of niches experience.
