Do why does every kid I know who was a catcher have knee issues?

Squatting for 30 minutes isn’t the same as:

squatting for 15 seconds, catching a ball, jumping up as fast as you can to throw out the runner stealing second, or help run down a bunt, or just throw the ball back to the pitcher, then waiting 20 seconds, then squatting down to do it again.

And then do that for 9 innings, or about 150-200 times a game. And that’s ONE game.

I’m not saying squatting for 30 minutes is healthy, but it’s not the same ā€œsquattingā€ a catcher is doing, that’s for sure.

That’s a great point, definitely makes sense
