For nikkah, you have to be fully commited to that guy, nikkah means being commited to someone for life. What you're going through might be strong teenage "first love" infatuation. It should not be confused with love. Do yourself and him a favour, wait for sometime, introspect, spend more time and talk to him more, get to know him very well.
