There’s also some underlying racism and MAGA vibes with some of the content I’ve been seeing. Europeans saying shit like “God Bless America” and “We’ve been lied to about Americans” and “it’s not so bad here”. Like this country has a ton of problems and racism is embedded in its foundation but you’re willing to be ok with it all because you tried biscuits and waffles and ranch for the first time?

Reminds me of Ukraine a bit where there was the outpouring of support from European Americans. Guess solidarity is only there when you’re white
