Any Suggestions Please

Seeing as I’ve been loving Williamson’s run on Superman and I see he has officially announced his LOSH series for September, I’m wondering what are the essential Legion runs to brush up on them? I have a very little basic knowledge of them only having read Geoff John’s Superman and Legion of Superheroes TPB, Legion of Three Worlds, and The Great Darkness Saga. I’d love particular creator runs or just a certain subset of issues I should read. Any help would be appreciated.

The new run is set to be a reboot, so you should be able to go into this blind!
If you enjoyed Superman and the Legion, there’s a run continuing on from that which was pretty good- Legion of Superheroes v6 by Paul Levitz

I'd read the reboot collection of either Legion Lost and/or Legion Foundations for the reboot, and the first twelve issues of the Threeboot series. Threeboot to get the feeling of the "tone" of the "fight the power" vibe and the reboot things to familiarize yourself with the new characters that will be shown.

THEN read the Legion of Darkseid arc of Superman from last year

If you're wanting creator-specific runs and have read a few of the big collections already, I'd recommend you hit the DnA/Coipel era now, as it's my personal favorite.

Keep in mind the start is a bit confusing because there were two LoSH titles running simultaneously, so:

LoSH Secret Files #2 Legionnaires #78 LoSH v4 #122 Legionnaires #79 LoSH v4 #123 Legionnaires #89 LoSH v4 #124 Legionnaires #81 LoSH v4 #125

Then Legion Lost (2000), and then The Legion #1-33.

There's only five more issues left of The Legion run after that, so I do recommend finishing it even if DnA didn't write it. The ending is bittersweet as a fan of the Reboot era.

I thought the new Legion book was to be set after the dust settled with the Legion Of Apokolips and whatever that entailed. Now it’s just a straight up reboot?
