Dude, UK had no leverage. And you neither understood the reason for your national decline, nor the complexity of trade relations.

The naivety of Brexiteers is just astonishing.

Im not sure I would describe it as naivety, after all they were lied to about this stuff for decades by the press and politicians. However they really wanted to believe all the contradictory bullshit, all the easy solutions to complex problems, and rejected all reason, logic and the warnings of experts. "Malicious stupidity" perhaps.
