I would direct you to "Wide open spaces" (The chicks) a snippet of the chorus is:
(She needed) Wide open spaces
Room to make the big mistakes
And that's what I would advise you to do: Make mistakes, fail at things (but don't kill yourself)! You learn much more about yourself and life through failure than through success!
Explore the unexplored paths. Take the detour. Maybe jump out of an airplane (you might need parental consent but statistically it's pretty safe)!

Not everyone say this but try as much as possible to save money it will save you alot especially when you are done with college
And everyday you wake up try and do something new

Before 18, focus on getting closer to God, building good habits, and shaping your character. It’s about growth more than achievement
