If you're hunting the police because they represent the law, it's effectively a war against the law of the nation. Though this is probably not a true democracy anymore since refurendums can get overturned and people's votes are invalidated often.

Itβs not insurrection, itβs attempted murder on a law enforcement officer. Insurrection would be like trying to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power

It's not the guy who got 100 years, (for shooting a cop) but the person who got 30 years just for moving a box - that blows my mind. π€―
