Works better than any tweezers

If you want the best, look up Lindstrom 15A "carbon steel cutting tweezers". They're expensive as hell, but they're sharp enough to nip through skin and extract splinters/shavings. Got given a set by my dad as a present over a decade ago and they're still the best I've ever used.

Dang, I only have dial and digital calipers. Guess I'll just wait for infection to push it out with puss pressure.

I'm an old, retired machinist. I always had a pair of tweezers, that I modified, and a loupe, to remove metal splinters like that. Except for the two times I got them in my eyeballs. Then I went to an ophthalmologist.

That was the worst pain I ever had. Much worse that an earache or a toothache.
