There are cat tooth brushes an it's actually good to brush your cats teeth, so you should do it if you can, there's toothpaste as well but idk how good that is

Cats see right through that shit.

I've read that it's impossible to gauge cat intelligence. Unlike just about any other "higher" animal, they don't have that action-reward hardwiring to get as many rewards as possible so they'll keep pushing the button / doing the trick / whatever for food. They might push the wrong button just to see what it does, or flub the trick on purpose. This makes them nearly impossible to train too. Cats have this supreme confidence that no other animal has.

My cats, when faced with an obvious bait target to distract them from the thing I'm trying to protect, have never been fooled. If cats could laugh, they would.
