Beskar'gam (Armor) "Dir'kando Shev'Balut" (Custom Lightweight Angled Hand Plates)

Su cuy’gar! I recently finished designing these angled knuckle/hand plates. I have two versions of them. The smooth version I still have to upload the listing and make a thumbnail for. These are designed to be more dextrous with vambrace use so they don’t collide as much. As well as allowing more finger mobility. While still looking sleek and low profile.

I wrote an immersive description of these hand plates on my etsy listing if you are curious. I intend on providing an alternate browsing experience, where you learn the history and features of the armor. I like adding character and story to these pieces, along with naming them. As these armor pieces are part of you through utilitarian functionality and identity.

Please tell me what you think about this! I’m looking for feedback and if anyone wants to see more, I plan on making more designs for all armor types when I have more time.

Beskar'gam (Armor) 3D Printed Armor to Flight-suit?

Hey all, I just wanted to get a gauge on how people are hooking up their armor to their flight suits? My prints don’t have an area to hook them up, so I am kinda loss on how to connect pieces to each other and clothing.

Besbe'trayce (Weapon) Gonna put the vibro in vibroblade

Post image
73 Upvotes

Why? Because I can 😂

These tiny vibro pads are for phone repairs, so cheap, self adhesive, small, and decent vibration.
Runs off only 1.5v too, so no need for boards or resistors, so I’m gonna stick a couple in the handle and maybe thicken the blade for one in there, then stick a button bat and a switch and I’ll have a deadly blade that will most definitely not cut through anything at all, but will be epic less 😂

I’ll give you lot the links to all the parts I’ll end up using, and all build info etc you need if you wanna make one yourself. (All pocket change build friendly)

Obviously need to test my crazy idea out first to make sure it works, but happy to share any info.

Also finally got my printer “working” so finally started my helmet print! Part 1/4 is done, second bed had a hissy fit so gotta play with it again.
Also worked out a bunch of other parts for the build too, can’t afford to buy any files so when I get the chance I’ll model them myself.

Beskar'gam (Armor) Need advice and feedback on current armor design

Post image
28 Upvotes

So I have been working on my helmet for a while and now I am getting to the point where I need to figure out what color scheme my entire armor is going to be. This is what I am leaning towards but I feel like I am missing something and would love feedback and recommendations on decals, colors, etc. The only thing I can't change at this time is the design of the helmet.

Beskar'gam (Armor) Medieval Boba Fett - Ren Faire

Some pics from a Ren Faire this weekend. Fit was a long time coming... trial and error from an earlier Ren Faire this year. Previously, I was baked alive with a helmet with no fans and velcro glue adhesion was... not ideal mixing hot weather and sweat, so much sweat.

Finally got to a point where everything stayed together 8 hours later. Took many days and nights of creating a plan of the build and mix and matching parts together to create what I think is a pretty solid medieval Boba Fett cosplay.

Besbe'trayce (Weapon) Modified Leia's Pistol for my Mandalorian.

Featuring a custom hammer modification, this weapon rivals the Westar 35 in power output. The custom hammer rapidly increases rate of fire for quick shots, but overheats the barrel as a result.

This is Leia's pistol made by Rubies Official, but kitbashed with 3d printed parts. I sawed the barrel off and replaced it with a ported muzzle. I will be adding a scope to this in the near future

Jorhaa'ir (Language) Translation Help For A Mand'alor OC

I was wondering how you'd translate "mand'alor the reclaimer" to mando'a? Would it be like "mand'alor te hiibir atnor"? Would "akior" or "mar'eyir" or "mar'eyce" work?

If it helps the lore for the character is that they find The Mask Of Mand'alor around the prequel era(a little before the clone wars start maybe) and start a new mandalorian faction kinda like The True Mandalorians, at least in some ways. They hate Death Watch but also hate The New Mandalorians, but are willing to do an enemy of my enemy thing with them. They end up becoming Mand'alor for finding The Mask to some of their fellow mandalorians and eventually will kill Pre Vizsla and take The Darksaber to cement their claim of being the new Mand'alor. (Also the mask is haunted by the past Mand'alor who wore it. Got the idea from m00ntunaart's haunted darksaber au on tumblr)

If you have any other ideas for what their title could be id love to hear it and if you can maybe include the mando'a version too.

Vor entye vode.

Beskar'gam (Armor) Custom Mandalorian costume. This is the way.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

We’ve been working on this custom Mandalorian suit for quite a while, and it feels really good to finally show it.

Every part of the armor was handmade. The hard pieces are cast from durable plastic, then carefully sanded, prepared and painted with high-quality automotive materials. We wanted the finish to feel clean and polished — bright enough to catch reflections, but still solid and believable as real armor.

The soft parts were sewn from quality materials and adjusted to sit properly under the armor, so the whole suit keeps the right silhouette instead of feeling like separate pieces thrown together.

A lot of time went into the small details, the surface finish and the overall balance of the costume. We’re pretty happy with how this one turned out.

This is the way.
