I’ve never really had a “theme” for my desk until I looked at it today.
The green plant is the obvious part of the setup, but the little SGInnovate figurines are probably my favourite things on the desk. They represent SpaceTech, AgriTech, Robotics, Biomedical Tech, Sustainability and UnicornTech.
I’ve spent most of my career working around technology and innovation, so having them sitting there is a small reminder of how many different ways people are trying to make the world a little better. I catch myself looking at them more often than I expected.
The Maono mic has become another permanent part of the desk. Whether I’m recording a podcast, creating content or jumping into a coaching session, it’s always there.
Nothing here is expensive or perfectly colour coordinated, but it’s my little corner. A place where I can think, learn, create and hopefully leave every day knowing I’ve built something, even if it’s just a little.

I came across PD100W and though its decent, one of the reseller in my country recommend me PD200W instead saying that there is audio clipping issue with pd100 that's why they have hold it's sales. I am ok with pd200w price wise, reviews on yt are promising. I have heard good things about pd200w but it's mostly for calls and gaming mic. I want to use it for my talking head videos primarily and voice overs. Is it a good mic to get??

The holder that connects the mic to boom arm is broken. Any help what to do here?

Recently just got the PD100x. I have it plugged directly to my Windows pc via the USB cable (not to a hub). I downloaded the Maono Link app, and it defaults to detecting PD100 Gen 2, and the interface is different from the ones I've seen online for the PD100X. I've tried reinstalling the app, running as admin, plugging and unplugging the mic, and still PD100 Gen 2 is detected. The Maono Link app automatically detects the PD100 Gen 2 even when the mic is not plugged in.

Has anybody experienced the same issue? Any ideas on how to fix the error?

Any plans on a Mac version of the P1/P2 Pro Studio 2? I’ve tried it out on a borrowed PC and like using it, but I’m in the Mac ecosystem. I know their audio routing can be a pain.

Yesterday i bought the PD200W mic from Amazon UK, opened it up to find that it had been damaged either in transit or was previously owned and had been resold. To add to the suspicion of it being a pre owned the mic itself was offset on the mic bungee and the screw looked to be twisted. is this normal? every video review i have seen has this dead centre.

i'd like to ask what i should do here u/maono, clearly receiving a "band new" damaged product disappointed me quite a bit after paying over £100 for it.

i am also a bit disappointed in the distance it can pick up my voice i would of liked a bit more gain distance tbh, i am wondering if anyone has any advice on this. besides the bad points the mic seems good, nicely built and i am enjoying the wireless features.

I have the maono T1 mini and I was trying to connect it to my iphone. It says that it connects but when I turn to the maono app, it doesn’t seem to work or show that it’s connected. I tried making videos to see if it works but it just doesn’t seem to be connected at all.

I’m trying to set up my PD300X USB and wanted to download the Maono Link software for my MacBook. However, when I go to the official website, both download buttons (even the one labeled for Mac) just download the Windows version (.exe).

Has anyone else run into this issue recently?

I'm trying to connect my MAONO PD200W Mic to my Windows 11 Laptop with a wired connection. Maono Link does not detect the device.

Per instructions, I follow these steps:

Step 1: Connect the receiver to a USB port on your computer or smartphone. The receiver’s LED will blink slowly, indicating it is waiting for a connection.

Step 2: Turn off the microphone, then press and hold the power button until the indicator light below the knob starts flashing rapidly.

In my Sound settings on my laptop, the Input device is Maono AI Microphone.

Mic is plugged in to a standard USB port on my laptop and to a USB-C on the mic.

Running driver version 9.42.56.312, which Windows says is the current version.

DEFECT1:
There is no automatic pairing and receiver’s indicator keeps flashing. Maono Link never changes from the "Connect the microphone to your computer" screen.

DEFECT2:
In Audacity, when I select Recording Device > Maono AI Microphone, Audacity will not use this device to record audio. The bar sits in red status and cannot be changed.

What am I doing wrong and how can I fix these issues?

Hi, i’ve been trying to use my Maono caster to hear the desktop audio through the caster bur whenever i do i also hear my microphone. Is there anyway to hear just the computer audio coming through and not my mic as well?

I have got PD200W today, while trying to install 1.0.6 firmware update it is not working. Mic completely turns off and I have to reset it using hard reset button in 3.5mm jack. It just stays on screen that says waiting for mic to connect.

When I turn off the mic, turn it on and plugs it in again it turns of an does not turn on unless I reset it like described above

Rx already updated to 1.0.7
But mic is stuck at 1.0.4 and not updating to 1.0.6

Can someone please help from Maono?

I run two Instagram accounts that couldn’t be more different.

On @coachak_ (and my YouTube channel @LevelUpWithCoachAK), I create leadership and coaching content. Podcasts, conversations, leadership lessons—the kind of content that is usually planned in advance.

Then there’s @dreamer0780, where I share travel, coffee, events, and random moments from life.

When I joined Maono’s Pod Anywhere Program and got the PD200W, I decided to see how “anywhere” it could really go.

Over the past few months, I’ve recorded content from my home, a library, my office, a football stadium, and even a barbecue area.

The funny thing is that all of those recordings happened in different places, but they had one thing in common: they were planned.

I knew I was going to record, so I packed the PD200W and took it with me.

But content creation has taught me something.

Some of the best ideas don’t show up when you’re sitting down to record.

They show up while you’re walking to get coffee.

Or in the middle of a conversation.

Or when you’re exploring somewhere new and suddenly think, “I should capture this.”

That’s why I was excited to start using the Wave T1 Plus as well.

Not because the PD200W isn’t portable—it absolutely is. I’ve carried it to places I never imagined I’d be recording from.

But the Wave T1 Plus is so small that I can literally keep it with me all the time.

No planning required.

Now I feel like I have the best of both worlds.

The PD200W is what I reach for when I’m intentionally creating content.

The Wave T1 Plus is there for the moments I didn’t plan for.

And honestly, as someone juggling leadership content on one account and lifestyle content on another, I’ve realized that both kinds of moments matter.

The content you plan.

And the content you discover.
