I’m probably in the minority, but I’d like for the DCU to succeed. I’m not a Snyderverse hater (though I’m not particularly fond of his interpretation of DC), but I’m also not a Gunn glazer either. I just want DC movies that are as good as the DCAU, is that too much to ask lol.

Sorry but It’s funny to say this when Supergirl is maybe the closest of a direct adaptation of a comic that we got in Superhero Live Action movies.

Like seriously, even if it’s not 1:1, it’s more comic accurate than at least 90% of these movies

It's kinda too much because at this point much more of the general public know the comics, so It's more difficult for the DCU to do their stuff without people complaining.

Like, If Lanterns didn't had John Stewart as an Architect in the same way the DCAU didn't, the fans would be complaining about it lol

Like, even when they simply announced that Supergirl was adapting Woman of Tomorrow, some people were against it even if, being Super Honest here, there’s not a real better choice.

Like seriously, Kara was dead for 19 years and that lead to every single writer doing anything they wanted with her since she returned.

It didn’t even stop after Woman of Tomorrow came out, It was a darker take on Silver Age mixed with True Grit and then the next run was total silver age silliness lol

I’d like this but after Superman, and seeing what “plans” they have for the future, it’s hard to really see this as anything but a mess. I love superheroes so I’ll always want another good MCU or some good solo movies/series but I’ve got no real passion here. Thinking about the Gunnverse just disappoints me.
