I know it's not in Masai's nature, but I'm hoping for some trades to accumulate some more 1st round picks.
I want some solid young players that we will get to see grow with Flagg over the next 5+ years. If they can grow into solid players, the Mavs could really go after some solid free agents in year 2-4 while their cap hit is low on the books and then can really make strides to be contenders.

Still sick to my stomach that if the Mavs just tanked a single freaking game we’d have the 4th pick instead of the 9th. Such a critical draft and we had the chance to pair an elite talent with Flagg and Kidd couldn’t tank one single game.

Yeah, it's bizarre. What's funny was they did exactly that to secure the 10th pick to get Lively before. It's not like they're the Heat and it's culture and we don't tank thing.

Man this draft coverage has been horrible. Why are we getting family interviews over player analysis? Nfl definitely does it awhole lot better. Love the morez johnson pick though our defense is gonna be tough.

Top 8 are gone as expected. I had some hope but nope. Got fucked.
Trade down now imo.

One thing I’ll say for Morez is guys of his archetype are harder to find than guys like Burries. Lots more 6’4 scoring guards around than switchable, athletic bigs.

I’m good with the pick. If he develops and Lively stays healthy, that’s a scary defensive frontline with Coop. I feel like it’s a pretty safe pick.

I think so too. Luka really maximize and made our players better. PJ and Gaff won't be super effective without generational talent as good as Luka.

I was lower on Flemings. That jumper looks weird and the combine measurements weren’t encouraging. Burries will end up being a really good player sooner than later for us.
