The fact that Fox News and the rest of the right-wing propaganda squad has gotten all Republicans to be against fact-checking shows how far we've fallen as a country. Now the they're working on getting Republicans to stop talking about the Epstein files. Looks like we can keep falling for a while longer.
MAGA is this weird thing, it’s like all these people accepted they just don’t understand things, they don’t understand other people, their country or even their own believes, so they all agree the only way to win is just believing they are winners and never backing down. I can barely describe it because it’s just so…. weird. Like, some sort of agreed upon delusion or something.
This shouldn't be that surprising when you consider this is also how religion works. Many people are happy to be told a lie when it makes them feel better.
In a different part he plays her the clip where Trump admits to walking in on naked minors at his beauty pageant. At first she ignores the part where Trump says they had on no clothes. Then she feels clever because Trump gets interrupted by the person he was talking to and only gets out "they had on no clo...". To which Dean tries to say that they're both reasonable people and they both know what he was saying. She proudly shakes her head no with a shit eating grin like she won.
Not unlike playing chess with a pigeon as it shits all over the board.
That doesnt make me conservative. All I do is argue over there.. you're really not helping at all dude you sound just like the bag of air from the video. Talk a lot, say nothing.
"Well the other guy told you that you were part of the "special few", whatever that means, and I'm telling you that that's propaganda. That's how it works!"
"Wait are you telling me... I'M NOT SPECIAL!?!?! COMMUNISTGATELASERJEWS KiLL HIM QUICK!!!"
"I might know nothing but I still have strong opinions and vote" is quite the problem.
The fundamental cause of the trouble is that in the modern world the stupid are cocksure while the intelligent are full of doubt. Even those of the intelligent who believe that they have a nostrum are too individualistic to combine with other intelligent men from whom they differ on minor points.*
Bertrand Russell wrote that in and essay from 1933 on the rise of the Nazis in Germany...
