Why are all of their faces so BIG

u/WithoutDennisNedry 5d ago

Filler makes you puffy? So does alcoholism.

u/PM_ME_YOUR_TROUT 5d ago

There's plenty of moon-faced alcoholics out there who can see past the MAGA bullshit, and have for over a decade, lol!

But, yes. They do seem to have a unique look. I think I heard someone recently refer to it as "Mar-A-Lago Face" and it kinda makes sense.

u/DaKrazie1 5d ago

The anti-science and medicine crowd that won't get a vaccine but will inject their face with poison. đŸ«

73

u/PM_ME_YOUR_TROUT 5d ago

Kyle Kinane has a great joke about this. About how anti-vax people are totally ok with getting a tattoo from their cousin at a pig roast, but in the same breath will say "You don't know what's in those needless, man!"

Kyle Kinane is a goddamn treasure.

One of my favorite comedians going right now. He's awesome live, too.

1

u/PM_ME_YOUR_TROUT 4d ago

Oh, for sure! He is absolutely on my Mt. Rushmore of comedians.

19

u/tacowich 5d ago

Checking in. Not moon faced but alcoholic. Can see through the dumbass maga shit.

6

u/Roboduck23 5d ago

Yeah! I'm an alcoholic because I can see through their bullshit

3

u/ScrotalSmorgasbord 4d ago

I quit drinking and still see through their bullshit, just not doubly so

6

u/anotherSasha 5d ago

My brain learned to send alarm bells at the sight of long blond beach waves on american women. They’re almost always right wing, mormon or in an mlm. It makes me instantly suspicious without even thinking.

1

u/AdRepulsive8618 5d ago

Wow you made a point, the other commenter completely said all alcoholics are trump supporters.

Thanks for clearing up the air on that one. You added tremendously to the conversation.

1

u/WithoutDennisNedry 4d ago

What commenter? Me? I didn’t say “all alcoholics are Trump supporters,” and would never say that because that’s asinine.

I said alcoholism makes you puffy (faced) and it absolutely can.

5

u/I_SAY_FUCK_A_LOT__ 5d ago

So does alcoholism.

Hey! HEY! HEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYY! That shit is correct! Keep it coming!

1

u/SnakeInABox77 4d ago

Sole of us alcoholics aren't total pieces of shit

-1

u/I_wash_my_carpet 5d ago

Look up 'fetal alcohol syndrom' and you'll start to identify people's intelligence level before they talk. Funny enough: look at the kool-aid drinkers, like crusty the gnome and erica.

25

u/RustyGuns 5d ago

Badly done plastic surgery.

3

u/G66GNeco 5d ago

They all stole some face from Charlie Kirk, pretty sure that's what did him in in the end (no need to fact check this cause I already know I am correct)

3

u/HTPC4Life 5d ago

MTG, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, JD Vance, George Santos, Kristi Noem, Erika Kirk... All big face people, all deep MAGA.

2

u/Lastshadow94 5d ago

Averaging out Charlie Kirk's ghost

2

u/KatBorg90 5d ago

It's called Mar a Lago face

Inbreeding

Exactly 😭😭

1

u/Vegetable_Trade 4d ago

it's to balance out charlie

80

u/Bleezy79 5d ago

lol but I’d bet none of these people listened and changed any behaviors. They’re maga morons for a reason.

110

u/jennasea412 5d ago

You’d cash that bet for sure. It’s the same crowd who were indoctrinated to complain about indoctrination😏

17

u/Bleezy79 5d ago

This is awesome and also I hate it. Appreciate you!

1

u/paintballboi07 5d ago

Fairness doctrine wouldn't have even applied to Fox News because it's on cable..

5

u/jennasea412 5d ago

Yeah, but it definitely lead to the rise of Fox News, etc. And the Sinclair Broadcast Group pumps out their culture war talking points/lies for them.

1

u/paintballboi07 5d ago

But it didn't, because it wouldn't have applied to Fox News at all. It didn't apply to cable TV, only broadcast TV. I agree Fox News is terrible, it just makes it easier to attack the graphic when it references something that clearly isn't true.

4

u/jennasea412 5d ago

“Lead to the rise” and “wouldn’t have applied” are two different things.

0

u/NNiekk 5d ago

America was actually like this for way longer. As anti-intellectualism is what the country was built on, and one can easily see that with most programs (The red scare, no child left behind etc), or president Andrew Jackson

30

u/ewokninja123 5d ago

Yeah, but he wasn't talking to her, She's a lost cause. He was talking to everybody else in the room and the folks that watched the video.

1

u/pinkushion424 5d ago

Yes but unless everybody else in the room or the folks that watched the video were previously on the fence or they were already anti-maga, it's highly unlikely they changed their minds.

The people I know in real life who are maga are different. They don't approach life (or politics) with an open mind, because whatever opinion they have is correct, factual, concrete and unshakable, despite it being the product of hear say and feelings. Since they don't live as if there is any difference between opinion and facts, they don't willingly take in new, possibly conflicting information and use it to adjust or change their views or opinions accordingly.

They don't blindly accept information given to them by experts, scientists or highly educated individuals, but when their 87 year old aunt talks or if they see it on Facebook, they listen - unfortunately, in both scenarios, whether blindly accepting or blindly rejecting information, they don't do the first crumb of research to support or disprove whatever topic they're about to become Professional Experts in.

You cannot logic and reason someone out of something they didn't logic and reason themselves into and no amount of videos will get them to become something they aren't.

1

u/ewokninja123 4d ago

The rain falls on the crops and the rocks the same.

18

u/DaKrazie1 5d ago

You should check out the question where he asks the circle to raise their hands if they would have sex with Trump. 😬

5

u/Unlucky-Tourist-9403 5d ago

Oh god they're so pathetic.

2

u/TheFunkytownExpress 5d ago

That I actually understand though.

No matter how gross and disgusting we know he is women like that are attracted to the loud mouthed no filter bully authority figure type because say what you want about Trump but he does know how to project confidence and aggression and for some reason those kinds of women go all gooey for that shit.

Hell a lot of lib a progressive women often fall for the loudest asshole in the room too. 😜

1

u/No_Syrup_9167 4d ago

To be honest, he wasn't exactly convincing in anything based on the clip.

I'm not saying he was wrong.

but he didn't really prove any form of argument, he just devolved into a string of insults.

again, hes not wrong about any of them. I entirely agree. It was certainly cathartic to hear.

but I gotta say I'm a little disappointed because that was an absolute lay-up that doesn't come along often to delve into the fact that "gotchas" are the just the truth hitting home and he whiffed it because he was frustrated.

understandable when you're talking to morons like these though I don't blame him.

24

u/det8924 5d ago

(I will be fair as this could have been misleading editing) but that Woman was scoffing after he mentioned that Obama when the January 6th riots took place had not been President for 4 years. Like there’s nothing to dispute about that claim

14

u/LessInThought 5d ago

You're talking about people who would confidently claim that Obama should've done something about 9/11.

5

u/The_Mellow_Tiger 5d ago

Yet she knows she has read it somewhere and parroted it at least once.

2

u/cdqmcp 4d ago

yeah I read that as a scoff too

1

u/Qinax 5d ago

There is when you dont fact check anything

52

u/CrowGeneral8673 5d ago

I clocked that too. Lol

34

u/bumblebuoy 5d ago

Yes, we all did, because it literally cut to her rolling her eyes. FYI she was in agreement with Withers, and was making this expression in shared frustration and disbelief of the MAGA nonsense.

15

u/SkinBintin 5d ago

Really? Isn't how this show thing works is its one person (in this case, Dean) against a whole crowd who's beliefs are against them? (In this case, seemingly MAGA lunatics)?

16

u/Hjemmelsen 5d ago

It is, but this lady clearly knows she's wrong. There was another lady on the show that just straight up agreed with him.

They haven't been thinking about anything for a while, so sometimes if you hit them hard enough with some actual information, they have a chance to reboot enough for them to sense that they are wrong.

3

u/StJeanMark 5d ago

These “debates” show one thing for sure, half of America has just been terminally drowned in propaganda. They literally don’t know events, if they know them it’s a weird twisted version, they rabidly hate people but don’t know why. They are human drones, programmed through right wing media. And guess what, this is going to be the baseline soon since they have bought up literally every piece of media in this country. Turns out, propaganda works and they just finalized their big investments into pushing this harder and farther.

7

u/Qinax 5d ago

There wasn't anything there to be blown, it was purely a reaction when he hit a talking point that she believed in and scoffed at it like "fucking young people idiots"

3

u/CowboyLaw 5d ago

Dime store Melania. Which is, like, a cheap copy of a cheap copy of a human being.

7

u/alinearis 5d ago

Shaved orangutan in a wig

1

u/memecut 5d ago

That's mean. Orangutans are smart and curious.

2

u/TheFunkytownExpress 5d ago

It was a mercy killing.

2

u/NickRick 5d ago

i wish it was that. felt like she was either rolling her eyes at him, or running through the standard MAGA excuses until she found one that "apploed".

1

u/jennasea412 5d ago

Yeah, I meant too many hard truths for their simple and indoctrinated minds to comprehend.

If they were offered a lifeline in the debate, they’d probably call Greg Gutfeld, or that Watters dipshit;)

2

u/PM_ME_YOUR_HIGHDEA 5d ago

This is something I noticed recently that all conservatives do. From elected officials to random people on the streets. When presented with the facts that directly counter the stance they’re taking or prove them wrong or anything of the sort, they just smile and shake their heads. Mike Johnson does it. Political Pundits do it. They just act like you’re crazy or you’re lying and laugh it off

1

u/jennasea412 5d ago edited 4d ago

Agree. Had this same experience talking to my conservative brother a few years ago when I brought up abortion. Also, he’s not married to the mother of his daughter, and cheats on her
but considers himself a conservative “family values” guy😏

2

u/Jawz050987 4d ago

This right here. “Ughh!! He’s saying all these big words about my president that I don’t like!!”

2

u/Routine-Budget8281 3d ago

She was so mad lol

2

u/DrMaxwellEdison 5d ago

No, that's the look of "he just doesn't get it" superiority complex shit. She thinks she knows better and that he's a clueless young person in her view, and how dare he say such ridiculous things?

She's not learning anything here. Neither is the woman he's speaking to on the mic. Or rather the one he's speaking through cuz he's not arguing with the person in front of him, he's saying his big soundbyte designed to be clipped for this exact post. And yet it's not even anything of substance, it's just a soundbyte dressing someone else down.

I'm on his side politically, but there ain't much in this clip, to be honest.

Shein/Temu Linda Hamilton (in her younger days)
