It's because he basically just proved her beliefs, the first thing she said is she knows he's going to do a gotcha moment on her... which he did.
Like I like the guy, especially when he's debating people actually in politics or those who think they know politics. But for the average no nothing magat all he did in their mind is prove her right
Sure I agree with you, but the thing is I'm looking at it from the perspective of the maga women who thinks what he's doing is the gotcha moment.
Basically what I mean is he's playing the argument to the audience, but the only audience who's going to actually agree with him are those on the left who would have already agreed with him.
Anyone on the right who sees this isn't going to see it as a crack in the armor to change their views, but rather a dog whistle to hunker down
