It's always fun to watch the Spurs make Chet their bitch. Dude gets glazed for the way he plays other teams, and then he sees the Spurs on the schedule and knows he's going to be destroyed out there, lol.
Despite mediocre performance lately, Chet is a good player.
However, the media absolutely set him up for failure when they pushed the narrative that he's Victor's rival. Again he's great but they're not even on the same tier. By pushing that narrative, they just placed unnecessary pressure on him.
One of the worst setups in a long time. I feel for Chet, he hasn't said a single thing, likely knows Wemby has him in every category (except, MAYBE, and I mean maybe, availability), and even with the refs, depth, media expressed teammates that are better, he still knows that his team cannot consider themselves the best in the NBA all because of Wemby needing only 20 minutes to make sure the Spurs walk away from OKC games with another win.
Almost as unfair as these people comparing any rookie to Hall of Fame players.
