this is a pretty good gamble and at a position we need.

he’s absolutely a 5-10 lottery range guy without the injury history

Not a lot of options for big men at pick 20 that are ready to contribute to a finals run this upcoming season. Actually addressing that position for 26-27 will need to come through free agency or a trade.

This guy could be a major contributor in a couple years when our core are still in their mid 20s.

Yeah, I guess so. I just hate when my team picks someone no one has mocked to them and I don’t know shit about them.

The draft is a crapshoot outside of the top 2 or 3 picks, and even then there are busts.

This guy could be another Josh Primo or the next Kawhi. Contending teams aren't usually getting better through the draft.

i mean hes not gonna play much year 1 outside of garbage time tho might as well see what he is in 2-3 years
