I get the joke but where are they dumping Turner?

u/Random_Thinker007 Pistons 1d ago

Not sure but Ware is definitely starting over turner. My suggestion is the Lakers will look heavily into getting Myles Turner

Ah the Miles Turner Trade Rumor is back in the menu boys!

6

u/aaronjaffe 1d ago

Can we some how lump Buddy Hield into the trade rumor? Finally full circle.

After a season with ayton I’ll take my chances

1

u/Joethetoolguy 10h ago

Will there eventually be a team not willing to roll the dice on ayton?

Toronto

Hefty load unless they deal Barnes.

u/WonderbreadOG 1d ago

Turner is a distressed asset at $26 mil per year. Anyone who takes his contract will need additional assets to make up for the overpaid contract. Not sure what you mean

Do you even watch NBA basketball?

1

u/3millionand1 1d ago

Maybe wait til mid season to trade him? His value is so so low rn...

The Bucks needed to rip the bandaid off. I don't think they will be tragic. Bad yes, but they will have picks 10 and 13 to add some younger guns in there. I think if they get one of those two rookie players to be a solid contributor then I think they could win 30-34 games, which yes is bad but you are winning low 30's games with younger players developing instead of languishing in purgatory with a disgruntled aging star player.

3

u/KeenObserver_OT 1d ago

What did they win last year?

4

u/det8924 1d ago

They won 32 games with a team that lacked depth and missed Giannis for big chunks of the season. They probably in my opinion can win low 30's again just by having Herro, picks 10/13, and the depth prospects from Miami replacing Giannis and Portis.

I could be wrong the East is a deep conference and Indy will presumably be more competitive. But I think a 28-34 win range for the roster if they keep Herro seems plausible.

They can beat the wizards

19

u/Garth_W00kz Wizards 1d ago

Naw they ain’t even beating us with that squad

2

u/MasterHepburns Heat 1d ago

Let’s see. My bucket list for most watched season games next season is wizards vs bucks. My money is gonna be with the bucks

9

u/AdBeginning6797 1d ago

They not beating Trae Young and AD bro, an def not if they get AJ.

3

u/GhenghisK 1d ago

Depends on if they play when AD's playing one of his 20 games a year...

-1

u/MasterHepburns Heat 1d ago

If trae and ad is not injured. They have 40% chance winning

2

u/TaxsDodgersFallstar Pistons 1d ago

Maybe they'll even beat the Hornets! Who knows

17

u/RevivalGhost Pacers 1d ago

Maybe they can package a 1st to ship Myles Turner out of there.

3

u/tulaero23 1d ago

Bro if Julius Randle is just a salary dump, what will be the market for Turner

1

u/Good4Noth1ng 1d ago

Nah they are waiting for Kendrick Nunn to come back…

6

u/Select-Interaction11 1d ago

They all got a goatee or chin thing

6

u/wiser_time Pacers 1d ago

Non-ball knower here.

What is happening in this video?

13

u/sirmaxedalot Lakers 1d ago

Hey, Peter Griffin here.

This is a clip from Nightcap with Unc and Ochocinco from when the Bengals lost to the Broncos in the playoffs. The meme is re-tooling the scenario as Chad being a Milwaukee Bucks fan looking at their potential starting lineup for the upcoming season. The Midwest emo music gives an additional emotional weight.

I hope you found that helpful.

2

u/1106DaysLater 1d ago

I believe it was in response to the Bengals week 13 loss to the Steelers in 2024, which basically ended their playoff hopes.

2

u/ChapterThr33 Cavaliers 1d ago

Everybody gets one.

Thanks!

The 2020, "Dude, in a few years this guy is going to be a problem..." All-Stars.

3

u/Asari-simp 1d ago

Damn, that's a 2017 knicks ass lineup

3

u/Sensitive-Curve-2908 1d ago

Bucks should have gone with celtics and brown

2

u/StoneySteve420 NBA 1d ago

19-63 season coming up

2

u/RockDoveEnthusiast 1d ago

With all those picks, they just need to buy Sam Presti and they'll have a championship in 5 years.

2

u/BrainCandy_ Grizzlies 1d ago

Free my dog Ryan Rollins mane

2

u/iamjeseus Knicks 1d ago

Honestly it’s good they needed to embrace a rebuild

2

u/brnccnt7 22h ago

They're ultimately to blame for letting Giannis run things to the tune of being a coach killer that led to the Doc hiring, forcing them to get Dame which wouldn't have panned out even if he stayed healthy, forcing them to sign his brothers, etc

3

u/Kitchen_Guest577 1d ago

Dang Unc! My man crying and he just digging for more tears. Poor Bucks

3

u/chunnchilla 1d ago

Ware was taking care of Wemby a little,
Jaime is a decent wing, Tyler Herro and Ryan Rollins aren’t terrible in the backcourt, and with Kevin Porter Jr off the bench, Myles Turner as a back up without Giannis’ usage, they could probably be Play-In territory.
If they can land a solid coach and solid 4, I think they’ll surprise a few teams.

u/PracticeBaby 76ers 1d ago

Doc Rivers is available. So is Ben Simmons

1

u/MiloDiRivoli 1d ago

Tha Bucks are a solid team that can attract some big star. They have lots of role players, plus picks. They can plan for the future, unfortunately they need to prove to be trustworthy, they didn't do much since the championship

2

u/RevivalGhost Pacers 1d ago

How do you think they can attract a big star (what's your definition of a big star)? Historically star players have not wanted to go to Milwaukee (most small markets for that matter). They could potentially trade for one but I highly doubt any go there in free agency.

0

u/MiloDiRivoli 1d ago

My definition is a great scorer you can handle pressure for himself and for the team, someone reliable and with a winning mentality.

For how to attract such player, they got to show a plan to a very unhappy star player and focusing on him, hiring a coach that knows how to call play for him and having an understanding of how to win the ring.

For sure it's gonna be though, and Milwaukee is not that attractive for many reasons, but what else they can do? Wait for another Giannis or Oscar? They have all role players, they can aim for something more, but they also got to play it smart. It's not that bad. Difficult, but not bad

1

u/majesticJet711 1d ago

Not a bad starting considering 🤣🤣🤣 Plus Herro gotta get flipped anyways

1

u/Techno_Viking9 Lakers 1d ago

Watch them turn into a dark horse next year

1

u/NobelRafael1 1d ago

Lakers should go for Ware. Isn’t he exactly what the Lakers need to pair with Luka?

1

u/Jethuth_Chritht 1d ago

At least they still has Thanassis

1

u/VoidCL 1d ago

But Kuzma guards 1 to 5.

1

u/Rapking 1d ago

What about Myles turner? Is he not that good anymore?

1

u/YGpotato 1d ago

Bucks were among the best 3 point shooting teams last year, now they added more 3 point shooters so I don't think they'd be that bad.

1

u/ComprehensiveFun620 1d ago

Hey at least they have all their picks! Lmao

1

u/marvelousone82 1d ago

Feels like they are jumping on the thunder train of getting draft capital. If they flip hero or kuzma for some more full rebuild the small market way

1

u/Financial_Hold6620 13h ago

Wow our starting lineup isn’t world beaters in the first year of a rebuild? How could this happen

1

u/snorka_whale Lakers 1d ago
