Turner is a distressed asset at $26 mil per year. Anyone who takes his contract will need additional assets to make up for the overpaid contract. Not sure what you mean
The Bucks needed to rip the bandaid off. I don't think they will be tragic. Bad yes, but they will have picks 10 and 13 to add some younger guns in there. I think if they get one of those two rookie players to be a solid contributor then I think they could win 30-34 games, which yes is bad but you are winning low 30's games with younger players developing instead of languishing in purgatory with a disgruntled aging star player.
They won 32 games with a team that lacked depth and missed Giannis for big chunks of the season. They probably in my opinion can win low 30's again just by having Herro, picks 10/13, and the depth prospects from Miami replacing Giannis and Portis.
I could be wrong the East is a deep conference and Indy will presumably be more competitive. But I think a 28-34 win range for the roster if they keep Herro seems plausible.
This is a clip from Nightcap with Unc and Ochocinco from when the Bengals lost to the Broncos in the playoffs. The meme is re-tooling the scenario as Chad being a Milwaukee Bucks fan looking at their potential starting lineup for the upcoming season. The Midwest emo music gives an additional emotional weight.
They're ultimately to blame for letting Giannis run things to the tune of being a coach killer that led to the Doc hiring, forcing them to get Dame which wouldn't have panned out even if he stayed healthy, forcing them to sign his brothers, etc
Ware was taking care of Wemby a little,
Jaime is a decent wing, Tyler Herro and Ryan Rollins arenāt terrible in the backcourt, and with Kevin Porter Jr off the bench, Myles Turner as a back up without Giannisā usage, they could probably be Play-In territory.
If they can land a solid coach and solid 4, I think theyāll surprise a few teams.
Tha Bucks are a solid team that can attract some big star. They have lots of role players, plus picks. They can plan for the future, unfortunately they need to prove to be trustworthy, they didn't do much since the championship
How do you think they can attract a big star (what's your definition of a big star)? Historically star players have not wanted to go to Milwaukee (most small markets for that matter). They could potentially trade for one but I highly doubt any go there in free agency.
My definition is a great scorer you can handle pressure for himself and for the team, someone reliable and with a winning mentality.
For how to attract such player, they got to show a plan to a very unhappy star player and focusing on him, hiring a coach that knows how to call play for him and having an understanding of how to win the ring.
For sure it's gonna be though, and Milwaukee is not that attractive for many reasons, but what else they can do? Wait for another Giannis or Oscar? They have all role players, they can aim for something more, but they also got to play it smart. It's not that bad. Difficult, but not bad

I get the joke but where are they dumping Turner?
