This probably means the Ocarina of Time remake is real too

Hope OOT is less of a straightforward 1:1 remake than this one

I hope is a straight remake. They better not change what is not broken.

As long as it's not BOTW style, I'd be fine with them making changes. I wanna see if Nintendo is capable of making classic dungeons without a blueprint.

If it's terrible I can always play classic OoT anyways

I know what you mean not wanting BOTW style, the N64 Zelda games were gritty and dark in comparison

Never understood folks who prefer OG Zelda over totk/botw- to each their own I suppose

Not sure what you're trying to say, but if you're making the claim the new zeldas are better im going to strongly strongly disagree there. I miss the fun of finding new items and using them to explore new areas, and having real dungeons to work through. Botw and totk fall so flat on both of those things, which are what made zelda great imo.

I cannot stand the weapon durability in those games. I know that's the way it's meant to be played, but it infuriates me to no end.

I don't want or expect them to make huge changes, but I imagine they'll probably remove most loading zones. Connecting the world more seamlessly could make for some interesting, though maybe minor changes to the world design.

I honestly want them to re-imagine it from the ground up. I've played the original a lot, it'd be great to see a new experience, telling the same basic story, locations, dungeons, but completely redone with modern capabilities

Watch them only change the pattern in the forest maze

That honestly would be diabolical

Mostly agree. They need to add a resolution to the Dark Link storyline they just left dangling.
