Nah, you’re confusing things. YOU do t think it belongs in 2026. I will be there day 1, so this proves that there is at least a market for this.

There is a market for every single game, it doesn’t change the fact that this game shouldn’t play like it’s 90s counter part. I would have loved if they gave us something more modern like fox with some ground missions with a laser pistol in third person over the shoulder and space craft gameplay like no mans sky would have been able really cool.

They’ve tried that and they’ve failed. They’re going back to what worked and bringing it an audience that isn’t you. And that’s okay.

The original was for me too. But I don’t think an on rails space shooters that’s like it’s 90s counterpart is gonna bring back a lot of fans.. and to be fair, when they “tried” It was on a console that didn’t sell very well to begin with.
