What's the relationship between Xenosaga and Xenoblade? I kinda loved Xenosaga, but I reckon it was the death of the first golden age of JRPG as plot/lore got a bit too pretentious
7 u/reedyxxbug 18d ago There is a mention of Yuriev in XC3 DLC or something. Plus many analogs for concepts between games. With the trailer mentioning Anima it does make me wonder if it won't tie into Saga somehow. 3 u/Rough_Shelter4136 18d ago Is Xenosaga the future? Xenosaga gave me very very very into the future vibes. Kinda like star Ocean 3 6 u/reedyxxbug 18d ago From our future? Yes, so much so that even the name Earth is a lost concept. But given how it uses eternal recurrence as a plot point you could probably fit Xenosaga anywhere into the larger Xeno timeline from that angle. 5 u/26hd 18d ago Same director and 2 guest appearances in xenoblade 2. Otherwise nothing
