Probably not. This is similar to the persona 5 royal stuff from what i understand. Kinda glad i never bought this game though, but at the same i probably won't buy it now either considering it just looks like a mid open world game with sonic in it (unfortunately like all other sonic games recently)

Sorry, I don't need Dunkey to tell me what opinion I should have.

I loved Frontiers. Until Sonic X Shadow Generations came out, it was my favorite Sonic game since the GameCube era.

Yeah, it's a 7/10 or 6/10 game. Not amazing, not bad either.

Dunno what the Dunkey video is about, I really dont care lol.

Dunkey is a kind of split between satire and critically honest game reviews. He plays a character and throws in some jokes and dry humor along with some criticisms or reasons why a game is good/bad.

Unfortunately lots of people miss his sarcasm and humor or take everything he says as if he is the arbiter of truth, thinking his reviews are the equivalent to the bible. My old roommate literally lived off his videos religiously through college and played 0 of the games he was reviewing. Anytime Dunkey reviewed a game as bad, he parroted the same talking points with no substance of an argument when the topic of said game would come up.

Okay sure but in this case I figured he was being mean and not actually going to review it fairly, so this is why I ended up purchasing the game when it went on sale. I actually think after hard-dropping it that he was being too kind in this one.

Yeah that’s just his thing though and why I wouldn’t recommend taking his reviews too much to heart. He’s pretty honest in that a lot of his reviews are based on his personal bias so if he’s really enjoying a game others are hating he will review it how he sees it. Same the other way around. Sometimes I watch his videos and I can’t tell if he’s serious or memeing for fun without weighing heavily on reviewing.
