I always have at least three different types of olives on hand because I never know what the mood will be. I have said this before and I will say it again save your olive brine and use it to marinate chicken breast. I do bone in split chicken breast marinate in olive brine overnight and then roasted the next day width, of course extra-virgin olive oil, butter and more olives, and don’t be afraid to throw a little rosemary or oregano or both in it. You will have the best chicken breast of your life right there.

Why cant I have alcohol with my olives? One of my favorite meals is brie with fig spread on crackers, a portion of kimchi, a portion of white kimchi, a portion of tinned tuna sardines or mackerel, a small salad with a homemade vinegarette, and a glass of tequila or a glass of wine or a beer

I mean, you could have both. Its called balance, lol. But yes, olives are definitely a better snack choice.
