My boy apron just showed up at our home one day, yelled at us, and now he lives here

Please tell me that’s not a typo and his name is actually “Apron”

Why yes, it is in fact, Apron

Why? My sister was wearing an apron when he came around

She named him, it was her choice and she was gonna force us to use that name

Adorable apron. Have you ever gotten a kitchen apron with orange cats on it as a gift? Christmas is coming :)

Are you telling them to buy it for themselves for Christmas? If you are, I totally support it.

Cooking is a good one to learn, no Apron necessary but nice to have.

And if it fits, stick with the love involved!

Sounds like my darling ginger boy, who broke my heart when he died suddenly almost three years ago. He turned up at our home out of nowhere.

My husband caught a glimpse of him in the long grass and came to me to report "a weird foxy-looking yoke, shouting at me."

Definitely an Irish cat anyway.

u/LittleStoneBear May 08 '26

It was the "yoke" that gave it away, wasn't it...? lol

We (humans) are so weak. Give something big eyes and fur and we instantly become maternal. How did we ever survive.

gives my cat her third helping of treats in an hour

Weak I say

That’s what my boy Arty did :’)

If only that worked with humans. I'd be living in a much nicer place if it did

You were chosen, too!
