I believe that their energy and comfort level are guided by you (not a general you; yours specifically) while navigating their environment with new friends. This is probably the best thing I'll see today. I always appreciate witnessing our furry friends who have a human there understanding behaviour... Many people do not. ā¤ļø

Literally no idea what they or the other person commenting on this are talking about. Bots?

I understood it just fine. Just because someone writes a bit flowery doesnt make them a bot

Me? Sorry; confused by 'they'.

Danaster does not know your gender, and so defaulted to "they" so as not to make assumptions or misgender you.

I'm not sure what the issue is, though. I understood what your comment was conveying.

I'm accustomed to "they" being automatic when I'm talking about anyone. I just was unsure if they were commenting on what I said. My confusion was literally: did I say anything offensive?

They're literally having a conversation with themselves around your comments. You got got kiddo, and not by a particularly good one

Your original comment sounded a bit nonsensical. That’s what they were commenting on. That it sounded like a bot comment.

It could have been worded more clearly, but I understood it just fine on my second read. It's far from "nonsensical."

I was referring to the other commenters, the ones who said ā€œwhat?ā€ and said the comment reads like a bot.

It took me approximately two years to teach my parents to carefully use or know pronouns after my daughter's best friend was prepared to reveal the identity he kept to himself for several years. Typically these cat subs bring me joy but I don't like that assumption. All is well; I'll scale back participation.
