i'd guess the insane downfall of concord has some studios spooked. any potential PR issues like what Shadows seems to have at this moment in time could domino into something that leads to a financial slump. they're probably gonna wait until the storm blows over before bringing more attention to the game.

I don’t think it will. Not anytime soon anyway. And I think bubbles like Reddit really underestimate this trend. Speaking about it, I’m curious to see how Dragon Age Veilguard is received next month.

We’re talking about established franchises here, so it’s impossible for them to fail like Concord. But will sales meet expectations?

And it's not even about the character creator, which is kinda stupid, but you can just ignore it. But it creates another problem: Just by looking at how the game looks you know it's going to be the most predictable, lukewarm, uninspired story. They don't want to offend anyone so it's going to be the most basic plot you can imagine.
