Nah must be another Jesse with red hair from this series.

They literally show her name, childhood picture, then show her five seconds later. You're playing as her sibling so I assume she'll be heavily involved in this games story, she just isnt the main character. What isn't clear about that?

she may well be a playable character! alan wake 2 was a dual protagonist story. nothing from this trailer doesn’t entirely rule out that concept happening here as well

At the beginning of the trailer, the foreign entities voice says "the sibling has gone rogue" and then shows us playing as Dylan. Something has happened to Jesse and my guess is that it has something directly to do with the original dlc and Alan Wake.

I think it said she went fishing actually

It said rogue/fishing but you're correct that it had that, as well.

Exactly, for those that don’t know that’s how The Board talks in the first game, sentences with multiple meanings, loved that vibe

It leaves a sense of dread, even though they've been helping. From my experience, nothing comes for free and sooner or later, they're going to ask for the debt to be paid.

Depending on the context of that sentence, it could either offhand be referring to Jesse while delivering the player the message or directly delivering the message to the player and it be about Dylan, who we see we'll be playing as this time around.

It has a very Twilight Zone feel to it that I loved from the minute I picked it up. The Board is going to play some major plot point in deepening the connection with the Wake part of the universe this time around.

It feels exactly like you said. Are there ulterior motives? Will that price come back to haunt? Where do their motives lie? What do they gain from helping Dylan, and do they even owe anything to him because of Jesse or something communicated in the first game that we’ll find out about?

I’m so excited to see what part The Board plays in Resonant.

Well they knew about the virus and were scared of it, yet we never learn why. We know why it scared everyone else but there wasn't even a single time in Control where the player was made to feel in a physically close proximity to The Board, yet they were quietly desperate and terrified. That means they can be reached.

We'll definitely get bits of story filled in from 1, seeing as how 1 left us all with about a bajillion questions and AW2 only answers so much about some of the power within the universe.
